Annual Taekwondo Halloween Party

Well it was our 6th year of going to the Taekwondo Halloween Party. Everyone is required to dress and prizes are given for costumes. None of us won this year but the kids had a lot of fun! Hannah was upset by the mask I made Michael wear. That's what he gets for being away when costumes needed to be bought. Lucas convinced Hannah to be a dragon to go along with him being a wizard. Her actual costume for trick or treating is different.

Holiday Color

So I went yesterday and got my hair done. I let my stylist decide and he thought I needed a new color for the upcoming Holiday Season. I do hope he meant Christmas and not Halloween. I like it but it is such a big change from what I have had for the last 9 months. So what do you think?

Anniversary

Michael and I just celebrated our 17th anniversary this weekend. We dropped the kids off at the grandparent's house and headed out for a night.

We visited the University of Pittsburgh, where we met. Fun to see what was the same and what had changed since we graduated. We visited the room where we first met in the Cathedral of Learning. That building holds many memories for us.

We of course had to eat at the "O" for its famous fries. Yea, I know, not good for the diet and very high in calories.

A highlight of the night was seeing Bill Cosby. He was really fun to listen to in person. It was funny how he talked about how things changed the longer you are married. How appropriate for our anniversary!

And what would a trip to Pittsburgh for our anniversary be without a meal at Gullifty's. That is where Michael proposed to me 18 years ago while we were taking a study break from our finals. I was dressed in my finest sweatpants then.

Fun to have some adult time together and also to look at where we started & where we have been these last 20 years.

Michael, if you are reading this, I want you to know I Love You!
